Answer the 24 hour confidential hotline to assist survivors with crisis counseling, safety planning and information and referral. Free 60 hour training provided by Arise staff.

Client Services
Work directly with survivors in residential programs, legal advocacy and accompaniment or in a counseling setting. Free 60 hour training provided by Arise staff.

Clerical Work
You may wish to donate your time:
- Assisting with general office duties
- Bulk mailing preparation

- Lawn care
- Flower garden maintenance
- Cleaning
- Painting

Cell Phone Collection
Place cell phone collection boxes at businesses, churches, schools, etc. and visit them every couple of months and bring the phones into Arise.

Share a hobby or craft with adult and child survivors.
With women in shelter/transitional housing.

Referrals
Encourage friends and neighbors experiencing abuse to call Arise. Help a child who has sufered from domestic violence or sexual assault by encouraging their parents or guardians to call Arise.

Fundraising & Community Events
This gives volunteers an opportunity to assist in events such as:
- Annual Auction
- Golf Outing
- Community Outreach Events, such as, Lawrence County Fair, Healthy Kids Day, Health Fairs and other events held throughout the year.
