Bilingual Peer Advocate/Survivor Advisory Panel Member
PT Contractual; 5-10 hrs/month; Bilingual Peer Advocates/Survivor Advisory Panel Members are Spanish-speaking survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, and other crimes who help clients navigate our services and consult with Arise staff on programs, policies, and products. This is a part-time position, 5-10 hours per month. General duties include assisting Arise staff with program implementation, evaluating current policies and practices, providing outreach and community education, and providing support to new clients as they navigate services and systems.

Lived Experience Requirements: A series of experiences stemming from, or related to, being a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, and/or stalking. Lived experience also encompasses precursors leading to and the subsequent journey of recovery from domestic and sexual violence. This includes any and all experiences with the crime victim services field. Survivors are valuable agency partners who have skills and experiences that can provide unique insight into the anti-violence field.
Former program participants must be two years removed from receiving services.
