FT; 37.5 hrs/week; responsible for providing support to individuals and families victimized by domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes. The Mobile Counselor/Advocate will provide services at various locations throughout Lawrence County, with a focus on rural outreach. General duties include individual and group counseling, safety planning, assessment, and referral to/collaboration with other community resource agencies. This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of all client files including service planning, case not documentation and data entry into a data management system. This is a full-time, grant-funded position for 36 months, with the possibility of renewal or permanent employment at the conclusion of the grant period.
Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field preferred. Bachelor’s Degree required. 1-2 years of relevant experience required.
